MISTY COTTON (Percy Talbot) is thrilled to be making her Laguna Playhouse debut. She was last seen in CLOSBC's production of A Funny Thing...Forum playing the role of Philia. Misty was recently nominated for an LA Ovation award for her role as Violet in the Colony Theatres hit production of Side Show. Some favorite roles have been Ellen in Miss Saigon (Broadway / First National / TUTS), Eponine in Les Misérables (San Francisco Co.), and Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, opposite Donny Osmond. Other roles performed at regional & local theatres - Lily St. Regis in Annie - with Marcia Lewis & LeRoy Reams, Eve/Mama Noah in Children of Eden, Princess Leonide in Triumph of Love, Lizzie in Baby, Jenny Lind in Barnum, Sandy in Grease, Brigid Mary in Little Moon of Alban, Geraldine in What The Butler Saw, Patsy in Rimmers of Eldritch, Nellie Ewell in Summer and Smoke with JoBeth WIlliams, and Jeanne/Mimsey in Plaza Suite with Bonnie Franklin (both for CCAP's reading series at Inside the Ford Theatre) . Misty is a member of the Los Angeles based Musical Theatre Guild in which she has been seen in their production of Robber Bridegroom and Plain & Fancy. She has also performed in concerts and industrial shows that have led her to Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan and have had her working with such greats as Burt Bacharach. Misty is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. "P.S. Yes, this is my real name." |
